Kristina Sisco Romero is a writer and Emmy-nominated actress.  From 1999 to 2002, Kristina appeared on the CBS Daytime serial As the World Turns, for which she earned two nominations for Outstanding Younger Actress.  After leaving the show, she wrote, directed and edited Abigail, a 6-minute short that premiered to rave reviews at the Seattle International Film Festival and Dances With Films in Hollywood.

While continuing to act on projects including the Sci-Fi Channel’s Sands of Oblivion, The Flock with Richard Gere and Claire Danes, and NBC’s Passions, Kristina completed her bachelors degree in psychology from Thomas Edison State College.   She then went on to earn her masters at the University of Southern California’s Master of Professional Writing Program, where she won the One Act Play Festival in 2007 for her play entitled Gone… (which was performed at the David Henry Hwang Theater in Los Angeles.)  The play was published in the Southern California Review’s 2008 Spring edition.  Her short play Red Carpet was produced in New York City at the Estrogenious Festival at Manhattan Theatre Source.  The screenplay version of Red Carpet finished in the top fifteen of 1200 entries in the American Gem Short Screenplay Competition.

Recently married, Sisco Romero is currently writing, producing, directing and editing a series of projects. Works in progress include her feature film screenplay Winter Dreams andCalling Extra, a historical novel for middle-school readers.
